Need help circumventing new identification process in AppStore app.
I play a certain game made by A Thinking Ape called Gangs At War. You could say I am somewhat of an enthusiast, buying over 5 iDevices just to hold multiple accounts. However, there comes a problem when I am out in public, I cannot carry all of my devices, much less play them all, without looking like an idiot.
About a year ago I came across a method to access all of my accounts through jailbreaking. Because using udid faker to generate fake UDIDS is against the rules, I simply used the ones I already have. What I did was change CFBundleIdentifier and CFBundleDisplayName and re install, then use my other idevices's UDIDS on them.
This worked up until a month ago, then there was a mandatory update because of apple rejecting apps using the udid as a verifier.
I fixed this by changing the app version to the latest in info.plist without actually updating, so I can continue to use all of my accounts. However today a message appeared saying I must update my application, but there was no new update, so i'm guessing they are using the new verification method to login and completely ignoring UDIDS.
The problem is this: the above is basically the extent of my knowledge in circumventing this app's security, so I am looking for a new method. I do not know what method they are using, but if someone could find out, that would be appreciated. If someone could devise a method for me to continue using all of my accounts on one iDevice, I would greatly appreciate it.
