My Iphone WONT SYNC with my BLUEANT Z9 Bluethooth Headset, Advise please!

I bought a Blueant Z9 headset and I have been trying to sync it to my iphone but the select ON on the BLUETHOOTH and my IPHONE stays on "DEVICES" as searching and I follow I turn on the headset to pair it, but my iphone never finds it.

I had the same headset paired with a Motorola L7 phone and it recognize it in a few seconds.

What could the problem, the phone stays "SEARCHING FOR DEVICES' until for the entire time and the BLUEANT is never found even thought is ON. So eventually the Iphone goes to LOCK, and the headset pairing mode turns OFF after 2 minutes.

Please advise, am I doing something wrong? why the headset would work with other phones but not with my Iphone?
