Jailbroken, but suddenly it now shows the Activation screen in itunes

Hey all, its my first post but I've been reading the forums for a while now, and definitely find it super useful, so thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

My sisters both got 1.1.2 OTB (week 49), in the US thinking that they could take them to Canada and use them right away, big surprise that iphone isn't here yet. Anyways I used the guides to do the downgrade from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and then jailbreak, so they could at least use the other functions like ipod and wifi (they are thinking of buying stealthsim, or wait for software unlock)

The PROBLEM is that one of the two phones, now when its plugged into the PC itunes shows the activation screen for at&t, and won't let any music be added, etc. The phone itself doesn't show the activation screen, so its weird. The other phone, which is the same week, and had the same downgrade/jailbreak, doesn't do this, and will sync with itunes, add movies/music, etc

I haven't had any luck in finding someone else who had this problem, I'm tempted to redo the jailbreak but would rather follow a guide/advice of someone who has dealt with this, any help is much appreciated! (ps, both are still at 1.1.1 now)

You might need to try the problem one with another computer. If I remember correctly, some thread mentioned that iTune is registering the first phone number, so you would not sync correctly with the 2nd one.

So try the 2nd one on different computer and see.

i've sync'd 4 different iphones on my itunes. it actually saves the different phones so i can select which ones mine whenever im about to sync again.

don't know what ur issue might be, but maybe try updating to 1.1.2 again and retry the downgrade/jailbreak process?
