iunlocker hangs @ 2E3F00 :(

Just ran iunlocker and the needles trick worked - it uploaded the nor until 0x2E3F00
- now it hangs..shall i just press ctrl+c and then run bbupdater -v ?
Usually iunlocker should give out some text after it uploaded the nor -

i tried it again - ierase then iunlocker - worked this time! ;)

Triple check that you extracted the correct segment from your nor dump.

yes this time i used my own nor dump..the other one was from someones easy instructions who included all files - the iraser did not work he used and the nor didnt work.. - however now we have another happy t-mobile germany user ;)

i have this same problem :-( except i tried to run ieraser again and it just hung at Waiting for data. Then i ctrl c and ran bbupdater -v and it said "baseband is unresponsive to pinging"

gotta start all over again.

Ok, i'm having the same problem again, this is as far as i'm getting in the whole process,

what is the exact way you solved the problem? what are the steps? when do you carry out the nor dump, when do you edit it or whatever and when do you do ieraser?

please help, i'm almost there, i just need to figure this out!

anyone who wants the solution to this problem:

1. follow the HaRRo pdf up to AT <enter/return> then quit out of minicom
2. copy hacktheiphone's NORDumper folder contents to /usr/bin
3. copy iphonejtag.blogspot.com's new ieraser2 folder contents to /usr/bin
4. cd /usr/bin, then NORDumper dump.bin, and wait to complete
5. cd /usr/bin, then ieraser
6. edit the nor file as per hacktheiphone.com and upload to /usr/bin
7. run iunlocker
8. continue pdf directions

I tried to follow multiple guides for editing the nordump.bin, but for some reason on my firmware 1.0.2, Even if i properly select the range 00020000 to 00304000 and search for 04 00 A0 E1, it isn't found within that range.

Don't know what I did wrong. Followed the hacktheiphone guide to the letter...

Just fixed it!

Somehow the nor file got corrupted during transfer (wtf? i haven't had that happen sice the modem days) and deleting it and retransfering it with fugu worked!

On to the last step...
