[iTunes] Should we upgrade to 7.6 FOR HACKED IPHONES?

hi guys..will upgrading to itunes 7.6 hurt the hacked iphones? specifically 1.1.2 otb? if so is it possible to downgrade back to 7.5, if yes can someone post a link? thanx alot

no, upgrade is all good (as it usually is with itunes)

i heard it's harder to do DFU mode with new version. but maybe that person was BSing

No problems syncing Jailbroken, Anysim unlocked iPhone here. 7.6 has broken Independence 1.3.1 though

THAT IS WHY DONT UPGRADE ALWAYS, LET THE MASTERS HERE TRY IT FIRST BEFORE DOING ANYTHING SILLY.

(we don't know yet the effects of this new itunes.. ) :cool:

Someone also wrote that it would delete all your custom ringtones created through "iToner", and GarageBand would now be the only way for custom ringtones. Other places say that "regular" .m4r files would also still work and iToner ringtones would be the only ones deleted.

i've got a few macs plus have back ups of itunes 7.5 etc, so can afford to play loose...

Cannot confirm that... All my custom ringtones uploaded with iToner are still there...
HOWEVER: iToner doesn't show my uploaded ringtones anymore (though they ARE on the phone, since Nancy Sinatra sings her Bang Bang everytime I receive a call), and doesn't seem to be able syncing with the iPhone...

but if the itoner ringtones dissapear, you can return use itoner and put in again?
