iPhones M.I.A.?
Hi All,
Just a quick question? How many of you here have had iPhones or a single iPhone go missing in action whilst being delivered to your address?
Mine's been about 6 days now from the USA to Australia, and although the seller charged me $83 for shipping, they only stuck it in the standard old USPS Priority Int'l ($20 worth). I'm doomed hahaha. They say 7-10 days is normal, so I'm going to hang in there. Except, it left the USA on the 6th (7th my time), and still hasn't landed in Sydney... I should stop thinking about it and think about something else...
So how many people here have had an iPhone go M.I.A. so far?

Caged in customs here for at least 4 more days :(
USPS guaranteed 3-5 days, now its day 6.. sucks a bit calling this "Express".
-
mine arrive around 7 days. it was posted via USPS express mail international. I am in Perth :)
MIA? It happens sometime. I hope everything turns out ok at the end.

Well i broght mine from ebay via a person in Maryland USA, was posted on the 5th July and arrived into my hand by 11am on the 10th. That was using USPS express mail. with those parcels you can track via USPS tracking when in USA but it is best to track via Australia Post website once it reaches here. Below is the link and make sure you type the consignment note number WITHOUT the spaces:
http://ice.auspost.com.au/
give it a shot as the updates take days to get to the USPS site so you may find your phone is sitting at the local post office for collection!

Just received mine. Fedex is the best (and the cheapest by the looks of it!).
Took all of 2 actual days USA -> Australia.

Kevin

yep mine to
im in the same boat.
i used a mail forwarder in the US to ship my phone.
asked for USPS global express, but think it was shipped slower.
and then it was first 'missent' by USPS and has been MIA since 8/10/07. (same messages as you wombat, but JFK airport)
I have called and emailed USPS but because i'm not the sender the wont do nothing.
i have asked sender to contact USPS but he is soooo slow at replying
i have now ebayed another phone, and they are going to send USPS as well! - you'd think i'd learn!! but the phone was great price so what am i to do?? :)
