iPhone video output hack? Is it possible?
If you have an iPhone, and want to output video from it to another source you'll need Apple's new $49 A/V cord, or a new accessory that's equiped with Apple's new authentication chip.
I have an awesome little external 7"screen/speaker system made for the iPod videos that I want to use with my iPhone, but I'm forced to throw it out and wait until someone makes something similar specifically for the iPhone with one of Apple's proprietary authentication chips in it.
I think thats a load of bull!
Since the phone is running OS X, is there a possibility that someone could hack the phone in such a way that bypassed its detection of the Apple video out authentication chip so that older video accessories and A/V cords can be used with an iPhone?
