then updated and restored to 1.1.1
jailbroken using touch free & jailbreak.toc2rta.com
then restored and jailbroken with jailbreakme.com
turned iphone off and restarted and stays on apple logo!
the phone has stayed like this for a week
Itunes cannot read it so i cannot restore it
Reset (sleep/wake button & silent) does nothing
Can anyone tell me how to reset the software in this phone or something like that so i can restore it!?
try a full restart
that happens sometimes to me aswell. I think the problem is that you do not wait long enough after shut down and powering on again.

Use ibrickr 0.91 (http://ibrickr.com/downloads/ibrickr_v0.91.zip) in windows, this will solve your problem, It happen with me and i was able to recover without any problem.
