Im from Argentina, my father are in USA now, he went today to an apple store in Delaware to buy the iphone but when he want to pay, requested a license of US Citizen.
Only can buy it an US citizen now??? Help!

Any identification (e.g. passport) will be fine. They just want to verify the creditcard holder.
if an apple rep says he can't buy it because he is not a US citizen, tell your father to tell them that he is buying the phone as a gift to a US citizen, his lover, fiancee, his customer...whatever fits.
But beware probably you will get OTB 1.1.2 version which cannot be unlocked at least for the moment as far as I know so you may not be able to use it as a telephone.
Compre dos en Miami hace 15 dias y en un local de apple me pedian exactamente lo mismo, asi que me fui a otro local y en ese no me pidieron nada y me dijeron que la identificacion es solo para ver la foto del poseedor de la tarjeta no hace falta identificacion de US Citizen. Que intente en otro local o tal vez que vuelva y lo intente con otro vendedor. De todas maneras ojo que si es con 1.1.2 no vas a poder usarlo como telefono en argentina, y lo mas probable es que sea 1.1.2.
