Hello Everyone,
This is my first post on this board. If I buy an iPhone from the States and bring it home to the Caribbean, can I use the hacks available to use it as an expensive iPod or a full software unlock when available without registering first with AT&T?
What is the best method available to international users?

you can buy it, take it home with you, activate it using any of the tools out there and use it as an expensive iPod until SW unlock is available...
no need to register anything with AT&T
I live in the Caribbean. In Curacao to be exact. I have an iPhone here. and it works great. Just now I have a problem with making a call. but it worked perfectly a couple of hours ago.
NYW there's 2 more iPhones here. So u can ahve an iPhone working everywhere around the world. It just have to be sim unlocked to make calls!!
People in the Caribbean shouldn't be able to enjoy themselves anymore than they already do!!
At least we can beat you West Indians in cricket! :)
