iPhone Bluetooth Problem
Hi Everyone, I'm an iPhone newbie but I just love the damn thing. I'm trying to get Bluetooth to work. I have switched on Bluetooth via Settings/General and it says Searching but does not stop searching. My computer can find my iPhone, showing it as 00:1c:b3:31:06:cc and my shitty ol Samsung can find it as Unknown. If I try to access the iPhone from the Samsung it asks for a PIN.
1.Where do I get the PIN/Do I need a PIN?
2.Why does the iPhone not find any devices?
3.Am I doing something silly.
4.When I get Bluetooth working, what can I do with it? Transfer pic to my computer?
Thanks for your time.
Try searching "bluetooth" on the forum. There is a lot of info about your issue. Good luck
Bluetooth on the iphone only supports connecting to headsets and handsfree devices right now.
No connecting to a pc or other device to do anything.
try turning on airplane mode and then search for the headset then after it finds it you just turn off airplane mode and from then on it will just always find it - I had the same issue and after doing that I have never had a problem with my bluetooth.
Unfortunately all the Bluetooth function does it let you use a headset with the phone.
You CAN'T Send photos or contacts either way to or from the phone! Which is so stupid its unbelievable!
