iphone and alpine - HELP!!

Ok...

I have an alpine 9883 CDA reciever, a full speed ipod cable, and the bluetooth component.

I have a iphone unlocked and on tmo.

When i paired it, it worked, i could make calls over bluetooth and the reciever.

but when i plugged in the ipod cable, it started to play the music out of the phones loudspeaker...

i couldnt get it, no matter what i did, to play over car stereo.

can someone help me???? im so frustrated....

should i restore? or start uninstalling apps until i find out what has my phone all fucked up?

i tried switching off bluetooth, neg, i tried switching on airplane mode, neg.

X_X im goign to cry if i cant get this to work, i bought this setup solely cause i know it will!

my ex's iphone that i unlocked last week worked, bluetooth, iphone and all.

do u think there was something in my unlock that coulda done it?

i just copied over the unlock program, changed the privledges on the files via ssh, and then ran the program, it said unlocked failed, but then when i tried it making a call it worked on tmobile.

i have edge setup on it, internet2.voicestream.com, which works..

idk what else to provide... help!

Ya I have a IVA-D310 in my car, and my iphone works great (Ipod functions) . When it asks to switch to airplane mode on your iphone, click no. that way, you can send and receive messages and calls.

not sure on the bluetooth

i have the gateway 500 ipod connection system to fit my 07 audi s6 and it does not work with that. you get a meesage on the iphone screen saying this device is not compatible!!
