When is definitely the actual iphone 5 likely to be released? I've verizon and would like to acquire the new iphone when my personal contract expires in July, I would really prefer to know when the i phone five is coming out at any time in the future, since if so, I might stick it out lengthier to receive that instead of the iphone 4.
There is no definitive date set as of right now but the iPhone 4 was announced last year around May or June and came out in June. Apple likes to keep a yearly cycle so one could assume in early summer that the 5 will be available. Now if it will be available on verizon is a totally different question seeing as it just came out in Jan. There has been talk that verizon wont get the 5 until next Jan because of their yearly cycle. I think I read somewhere that apple is trying to make a phone that will be capable of cdma and hspa+ together so they wont have to make 2 different phones. If that is the case then I wouldnt see why a verizon user wouldnt be able to get the ATT version and visa versa....
