I sent a 2G iPhone that is unlocked and hacktivated to a relative in Vancouver, BC and they tried 2 different sims in it and it keeps showing "Sim Invalid". The same phone I have used in 6 different countries in Europe and Asia with 6 local sims without any problems whatsoever.
Any ideas please?

Thanks. They don't know iTunes exists. The phone is still working as normal, like you can slide to get to the desktop, all the icons are working and all the other features, but when they insert the SIM and this I saw on Skype Video it says Sim failure in the middle of the screen with an OK button and where the signal and provider should be on the top left side it shows invalid sim. The sim works normally in a Nokia phone. Could it be that the provider does not have a profile file?
Should I try to make them restore the hacktivated file with the SIM in the phone? Would it make any difference?
