It was all aligned correctly last night but just had the problem with that build up in the gap between the metal back meeting the black bottom part. It looks and feels lovely, the extra grip is nice to have as it’s very slippery on its own. There’s one or two air bubbles but I can live with them as they are tiny (only on the back.) the front fits perfectly although it seems that I have to touch slightly harder as it’s seems that it is not as responsive as it was without the front skin.

The build up is still the so I'm still not sure if it will come out or if it will go inside the phone! Should I leave it on longer or take it off to be on the safe side?? :confused:

Sorry about the delay, thesource. I don't frequent this forum much.

I also had some solution stuck in the same area. I'm looking at it now and it did evaporate (this is 2 months after application). I believe it evaporated after 1 month though.

You can always take it off I guess but then you may not be able to reuse the skin unfortunately. I did not use the BSE's pre-cut skin for the back because the tabs were annoying. I used a DIY sheet from BSE and just made square, so the back is only 90% protected.

I have an Invisible Shield, it took me about 2.5 hours to install, I am anal as hell about these things ;-). It came out PERFECT and I can tell you this, it's one of the best investments you can make in your iPhone. Combine this with the Griffin Leather/Hard interior plastic case (Available at the Apple Store) and you will never worry about dropping or scratching your iPhone again.

Anything else but the Invisible Shield is inferior, sorry, but it's the truth. The IS is made out of a patented material that is used by our armed forces to protect Helicopter blades from incurring damage. You could key the hell out of the phone and you wouldn't incur any any damage to the phone.

About these shield I have to tell you guys a truth. If you keep these on the phone for a long time (a year or so ) sticky stuff will dry out and it will stick to the phone very hard and if you want to remove it you have to use getergent which may damage back of the phone. It is better to replace it evey few month. I am trying to make my own shield from the same sticky transparent plastics bought for 50 cents. All I need the pattern to print on it and cut with sizers and spray a bit of soapy water and install it. I will post photoes when it finished. This way it is possible to make your own shield and installe it before it gets dried so badly not to able to remove it.

Isopropyl Alcohol does the trick without using detergent and possibly damaging the iPhone.

Invisible Shield's customer service for a replacement has gotten significantly worse. It is now virtually non-existent.

I had a good first experience with them. This second time around, I've been on hold for up to 40 minutes three times without any operator picking up.

I've left voicemail messages: no response.
Emails: no response

If you need a replacement, you're SOL.

Keep that in mind when purchasing.

^^ Another reason to buy from BSE. USPS had some issues losing my mail from BSE...twice. I contacted BSE and Mike, the president, quickly shipped both out again with no questions asked. Now that's superior customer service!

I agree BSE has excellent customer service.

I got one for iPhone. Its awesome. Its lightly sticky and will prevent sliping and theres no way to scratch it. And their free dashpad is all I needed in my car

Don't worry its not water and it was developed to be used with electronic devices so it won't damage it.
