Since I am in Trinidad and Tobago for three months, I called AT&T and disabled the Edge feature on my iPhone.
Surprisingly enough I was NOT charged for Edge on the bill. I was under the impression that the iPhone plan ALWAYS included the cost of Edge - disabled or not.
