How to load contacts from sim?

i'd like to know how to load the saved contacts
on my sim card into the iphone?

i did not found any option here.

I never found a way to do this.

I had to enter them all by hand. (it took some time)

If you have a sim card reader for your computer you could pull this data off of the sim card, and write a script that will translate it to the format used by the iphone, and then upload the contact file to your iphone using iPHUC or after dropbear is installed, using SFTP, but I haven't heard of anyone doing this work yet.

if you have another phone with contacts on the sim, sync them or enter them into whatever the iphone syncs with on your computer (address book on a mac, otherwise outlook address book?)

Then when the iPhone syncs with your computer, you'll get all your contacts.
