How to deactivate dvd jon's and keep all data?

I wanna use iasign to prepare my phone when i'll get my turbosim, but wonder how to deactivate the Iphone? (sorry if a method was posted before)
and, will deactivate it will erase all the content?
(is the reset button in itunes necessaray to deactivate?)
