Still no results for me. I've tried everything (but restore and re-jb) and no push...don't know why. I'm legit activated, custom 3.1.2, no unlock.
I'm starting to think that something that I installed (apps, mods...) creates a conflict that causes the issue. A few days ago I read in a forum that someone solved this just deinstalling "Autosilent"
What do you think about? Do you know if this could be true?
Here's the problem: I don't really understand how to follow the instructions! I'm totally new to all this =[ My problem might seem totally dumb...
I'm stuck at step 5, as I downloaded and unzipped the PushFix file, and I downloaded iFunBox, but when I try to open 'nimble' with iFunBox, it doesn't work! I also tried downloading winscp (because it's supposed to work with sftp or whatnot, but that's not working either. And what's this '/Library/Keychains directory'??
Aaaaarrrrgggghhh I'm So confused! I have the legitimate SIM card I just don't get how to do this!

Redsn0w broke push on my 3gs and my girls 3g when all i did was change boot logos on both phones. Not a big deal just kinda sucks cause I had to uninstall all my apps (like 100 or so) to make sure I got the ones with push uninstalled, So I can re inject certs.

I was trying a different way, instead of again injecting certs and so on, after re-jailbreak, I go to iTunes and restore from backup (left click on the device). The backup should be from just before the re-jailbreak, or update, so that it includes all settings AND the certs already in place. This way I think I avoided losing settings because of uninstalling/reinstalling push apps, as well as keychain passwords etc... I have yet to confirm it really works 100%. If someone else tests it too we can confirm faster ;)Quote:

it says I need to start with an clean, nonhacktivated phone...
so does that mean I need to wipe everything and start over again?
or could I do it on my old 2G iphone after I make sure that I have everything off it?? and then somehow transplant those unique certs over.
Is there a better or more updated guide than the link above?
