Home Button is Dead
I don't know why but since I cracked open my iPhone to do the unlock, the bottom button doesn't work, anyone have a scheme of where this button is connected? I know there's about 4 connectors under the comm board, any of them is for the bottom button?
check te large flat cable under the battery may be pull out from board connector
I did. I am 100% sure the connector is fitted n properly. You mean the large flat cable is meant for the Home button?
Make sure when you unlock the black bar (lay it flat) and have the ribbon inserted as far in as it can go. When you are sure it is fastened properly, push the bar up to the 90 degree angle and lock the ribbon into place. This should fix your problem. Also, anyone who has lost WIFI, Home Button, and Speaker access I'd suggest checking the ribbon as well because from what I can gather this ribbon connects the entire bottom half of the iPhone to the Logic/Communication Boards.
Hope this helps someone out and saves them some frustrating bang your head against the wall time.
Sure! Will give it a try. Now i know its that ribbon to focus on. Thanks a lot for your help!
Been trying for the last 6 hours. Pretty sure the cable is fit in tight and nice.
Both the Home button and Bluetooth are not working. However Wifi seem to be working fine.
I really need help this time round. My iPhone is half-brick..
Please give me a clue if you can, thanks!
