Hello, Sorry if im posting this in the wrong section or if i am not allowed to talk about this stuff on this website, just let me know. But anyways, my question.
I was wondering if there is any way I can download free music to my iPhone without using a computer, but i want the music to save and play through the iPod library. I know how to do this from my computer, and i know how to download music and play it through a file manager but i would like to play the music through the iPod and not have to use a computer to get the music, Thank you.
With a jailbroken phone there are a few utilities that will allow you to add mp3s and m4a files that you have legally obtained to your iPod library.
You can find these utilities in Cydia.
One example is Celeste which allows you to send a music file via bluetooth to an iPhone and add it to your iPod library. This is a paid app and costs about $10 on the Cydia app store. Once you have paid for and installed Celeste you can also use iFile to add music to your iPod library via a library called gremlin that Celeste installs.
There is also another tweak in Cydia that presents your existing iPod library as a normal file structure, I can't recall the name of that off the top of my head. It is also not free (and I've never used it)
We won't help you pirate music here. It has to be music you legally obtained.
