You should have the brand new sim that came with the phone in the phone from start to finish.

yes correct, the ATT sim is in the phone.... hmm so weird, maybe something ibrickr did screwed up the phone so that even the iTunes restore doesn't fix it... then again, it worked one time. I see the AppTapp connects to internet, maybe a problem with firewall or another app running in the background...
do you connect the cable directly to the phone, or do you connect the phone to the dock and connect the usb cable to the dock?
ok, the jailbreak worked now - what i did was close the ituneshelper and open the apptapp, and as soon as the setup finished, i closed itunes, and as soon as the globe appeared on the iphone screen after the restore reboot i clicked apptapp to install - maybe the iphone went to some kind of suspend mode on previous times.
problem with payac - keeps saying "failed, pairing issue"
ok, the failed, pairing issue error gets fixed with opening itunes and letting the itunes detect the iphone which i didn't let it do the first time for apptapp to work, then closing itunes and it does some syncing with the phone... then no more pairing issue.... but then the "Problem starting AFC: -402653150." error :S
I'll do a restore and begin from start again
ok my phone can make calls now, i'm an att customer. Now the problem i'm having is that when i try to use youtube it says it can't connect to it and no itunes doesn't see the iphone when i connect the iphone to my pc. Please help me brothers. I have the latest itunes and iphone software and my phone was jailbreaked before i used the software that on page one.
thank bros.
I have followed the step and activated the iphone.
What should I do if I want to use Anysim to unlock it?
Should I just copy anysim to iphone and run it?
I've been using DVD Jon's method to activate my iphone and have just recently tried using iBrickr/apptapp. It seems to be that the jailbreak isn't functioning correctly as the yellow triangle never disappears and apptapp/ibrickr both remain idle.
iBrickr doesn't proceed to the page after it tells you to restart the iphone in recovery mode. Apptapp is stuck transferring files to the iPhone.
Is there something that I am missing here? I've tried to do a restore with little luck and seem to only have access to the iphone activating it through DVD Jon's method. Any ideas?
If you get a pairing issue, connect your iPhone, start iTunes, and click on cancel on the activation process, close iTunes and kill all related processes.
Try to activate again. This time it must work.
guys I used thsi method to bypass activation and use my old att sim. Can I install the new 1.1.1 update?
