do i need to virginize/prep my 2g iphone before running winpwn?

Hi everyone.

I have a 2G iphone running the 1.1.4 firmware. I used iliberty 1.3.0.113 on it with the jailbreak, activate, unlock, and downgrade bootloader options. I use an AT&T prepaid SIM with the phone.

So now I'd like to upgrade to the 2.0 firmware and am not sure if I need to virginize or otherwise prep the phone before using winpwn. Does anyone know?

Well it didn't work for me--the phone got stuck in DFU mode when I tried to restore with the custom firmware--kept getting error 1604.

I was able to get back to 1.1.4 firmware using itunes 7.5 and iliberty.

I'll try again after a few more winpwn revs have been released.
