I have upgraded to 1.1.1 and the phone is jailbroken - I have installed SSH from iNdependance and I am able to ssh root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to the phone.
Once I get to the prompt I get "Comand not found" - regardless what I type - even a simple "ls" - any ideas?
I am able to browse around with Fugu and up/download files - really odd?
1.1.1 lacks even the most basic commands. You need to install the BSD subsystem or at least parts of it. Have a look here. http://cre.ations.net/blog
could be that you copied the bsd to the wrong root file there is root and /var/root i did this the first time on accident too and copied the bsd to /var/root but it all needs to be in root....goodluck
