Can't access SMS folder!

I have just gotten my iphone, it has a CHINA3GPP SIM slip cover in it and everything works fine, I can make calls here in NZ and I can see txt messages are sitting in the inbox, but everytime I click on the SMS icon, it loads to a blank screen, then 2secs later jumps to the main menu again.

I have searched iPhone foums and scoured google but can't find the solution or anyone who's had the problem!!

Can anyone help me please??

what version are you on

-the only thing that worked for me was either a restore to defaults in the settings menu or a restore via itunes..

-also try getting hold of someone else's sms.app and replace yours by his using ssh

- or you could just download isms or we tool to check ur messages they are better than the mobilesms.app anyway
