Can a carrier tell that you're using an iPhone
I have an unlocked iPhone which i use with my company sim card, (vodafone) have been using it since last September.
The other day i got an email from one of the managers saying that vodafone had flagged to them that i was using the company sim in a non approved mobile phone ie the iPhone.
So my question is, is there anything that can identify to vodafone that i was using their sim in an iPhone?
Keep in mind that i can only use the phone to make and receive calls and send sms messages, the company locks down WAP/GPRS/Edge, so have only ever used wireless which i know vodafone couldnt tell. Just wondering if there is any identifier contained within in voice calls/sms that says he is using an iPhone?
