Call Waiting notification?

Hello,
Just like the iphone displays a call FORWARDING notification when my call is being forwarded, is there any way it could display a call WAITING notification as well when the other person's busy on another call? My old nokia used to notify me with a "Waiting" message when i called somebody and he/she was on another call and i was put on waiting. Any way to get that message?

Currently when i call somebody i don't get to know if he was on another call or not.

when i set call waiting to on, the calll waiting setting keeps going to off whenever i exit the settings menu

i have tried the *43# but to no avail

any one else got this to work?

(im on uk vodafone btw)

Yes I had that too but it doesn't work on the iphone - it is also a network dependent feature.

Try switching off your Divert When In Call by:

##67# SEND

It worked for me.
