Anyone restore after hardware unlocking?

Curious if anyone has done a full restore through iTunes who has a hardware unlocked phone. I know if you unlocked it with 1.00 and update to 1.02, it will relock. However, if you unlocked with 1.02 and restore with 1.02, I'm guessing it doesn't relock? Just want to confirm before I do it. ;)

Sweet. Just had to re-activate it I'm assuming? The activation method seems pretty SIM specific too. I'm guessing you can't just pop in another SIM and use it without activating it for that particular SIM?

I did a restore from my 1.0.2 h/w unlocked phone to 1.0.2 last night and it works fine.

I can confirm that too.

works fine after a restore.

I get my phone next week so i havent tested it yet, but this *should* allow you to hot swap the sims w/o activation.

After my hw unlock I didn't need to activate or iasign anything, so Im thinking if I pop in another sim (havent tried it yet tho) it will just accept it right away. Im not planning to do any restores or upgrades to it however until a reliable (and real) software unlock becomes available though. V 1.02 is enough for me, dont wanna risk not being able to re-unlock it.
