My sister's iPhone went into DFU mode randomly and she is not near a computer to use ibrickr, etc. Is there a way to put the iPhone out of DFU mode on the phone itself?

No but tools like eziphone have an exit dfu button that mite help sort you out
could try a reverse dfu when its plugged in....
If it's going into restore mode, that means the auto-boot NVRAM setting got reset to false, which is like a failsafe for the iPhone os. There is no way to reset it without a computer.
Thank you anyway!
