[Advice] Buying an iPhone on AT&T Website but never activate it ?

I buy an IPhone via the web page from AT&T.
Exist any trouble if I never activate the phone with Att and use with another carrier ? or is better return this phone and buy in an AppleStore ?
Because Att has my credit number and the credit verification.

It depends on what you plan to do with the phone. Do you want to unlock it? Load 3rd party apps on it? Do you have tmobile? Or AT&T? I never activated mine when I bought it online at apple.com so no issues here. Dont sign up for an AT&T plan just b/c you got an iphone :):cool:

I will use with Claro in Argentina and never activate with AT&T, but I must return to USA the next year, and don't want to find something weird.

I dont think they will give you any trouble
