[Advice] Buying a 8GB Refurbished

hi is the 8gb refurbs still available? is there any hidden costs? or just plain 249?? what are the steps & requirements for purchasing this?

i got my 8gb refurbished and there was no hidden cost or anything, and i use it on t-mobile.

so there is no contract required? you can just buy the fone just standalone...

does it have anyway to know its a REFURB? is everything looking brand new? does at&t REPACKAGE it? meaning new plastic on everything....?

Nope, no contract required. I am sure that apple knows it is a refurb based on teh serial number, but its not branded or anything.

AT&T doesn't do as good a job repackaging as apple does. Apple typically included all new accessories, and the AT&T refurb had used accessoried (even the earphones) The screen protector they used protected the screen in the box but its not near as good as the one that comes on the apple refurbs.
