[1.1.4] Suddenly bricked

Okay, here it goes.

I really don't know WHAT I did. I did nothing.
I was sitting on my balcony, having the iphone next to me.
Backed up manually the sms.db and the AddressBook.sqlitedb.
Then i got an SMS.

That was the death.

I recognized the Batch Icon was gone. I didn't thougt about it and I opened SMS. Nothing happend. Crash to Springboard. Then i realized the EDGE Icon was gone too.
Confused.
Okay, so I tried to restart it. I recognized all images were gone. The slider etc..
And then BANG. Restore Mode. OUT OF NOWHERE! Why?
I was fine on 1.1.4 the whole time. Nothing was wrong with it.

Now when i restore with my pwned-IPSW I get the error 1604.

Yes, i restarted several times. iPhone and MBP. Tried different USB-ports.

Okay. While writing this post. I restored again with downloaded FW trough iTunes.
And now its at the Activation Screen.

WTF?

Could anyone tell me what I did wrong or what I possibly could have bricked?

Well if its at the activation screen thats good,that means that it restored and everything went well,just download iLiberty and activate jailbreak and unlock

Yep. I know. I already Jailbroke/Activate via iLiberty+.
But I'm still confused, why this happend??

Once you restore you have to jailbreak/activate again.

As restoring wipes the jailbreak.
