[1.1.4] Getting contacts out of newer backup

ok i recently downgraded my 2.0.2 2g iphone to 1.1.4 i made a back up of my iphone before i downgraded. i even saved my var/root/library folder. now that i am on 1.1.4 the 2.0.2 backup wont work says its not compatable or something and when i dropped the library folder in my phone thru ssh nothing happened. what can i do??? please help me

The data is in
/private/var/mobile/Library...
and you cant just copy the complete folder. You have to pick the data you want back, in your case the Addressbook sqlitedb file.
