[1.1.2 OTB] upgrading to 1.1.3

I bought my first iPhone with 1.0.2 OTB and jailbreaked it, everything worked well. Then I wanted to upgrade to 1.1.2 via OktoPrep and I was so sure I did everything right...anyway, after upgrading to 1.1.2 it said some failure and my wifi was greyed out...:mad: had to bring it back to apple and pay a 40 bucks restocking fee to eventually buy a new one.

My new one was OTB 1.1.2, downgraded to 1.0.2 but that didn't bother me cus Im using ATT anyway. So now I have this beautiful working 1.0.2, however it would be nice to upgrade to 1.1.3. Because of my bricking history Im really anxious about making a mistake or something, so what would you say? Is it relatively safe to upgrade?

Another issue: im moving to Germany in June, so therefore Ill have to break the Simlock somehow. Is there a way right now? (Sorry I currently dont have the time to read all the stickies, have a lot of work going on right now)

Hope i wrote everything understandable, Ive been working 15 hours straight... :(

if your 1.0.2 OTB are fine then why you upgrade if you not understand the Jailbreak things? :eek:
1. 1.0.2 is wery easy to jailbreak, but with 1.1.2 OTB you got lot of problems if you don't understand these things

Anyway check tutorials AND DON'T UPGRADE TO 1.1.3 ! because you get bricked your 1.1.2 OTB there is no way to fix Upgraded 1.1.2 OTB Phones! Until 1.1.4 comes out (nobody cnows)

read Tutorials about 1.1.2 OTB Jailbreak (But don't read these tuts about hardware unlock H/W - this is not for you, actualy this is wery hard to open phone and you can damage it)
anyway you will need to buy TurboSIM or StealthSIM for OTB 1.1.2 - to get simunlock if you are not on AT&T
