[1.1.1oob soft upgraded to 1.1.3] Waiting for iphone....forever
Im sitting with a iPhone im trying to get back on track.
It's a 1.1.1oob soft upgraded to 1.1.3.
Acording to its owner this happened:
One day it wouldnt access sms.app and then he rebooted.
It then presented him with itunes + cabel logo.
He then tried to restore, but got error 1.
Ok so he tried DFU mode, no luck.
He tried independance also.
Then he sends it to me.
When I turn on the phone it displays itunes logo. Then after 32-33 secs it reboots.
This it will do for around 13 min, and then turn off.
If I plug it into itunes it will detect the phone in recoverymode.
If I try to recover to any firmware it will return error 1.
Thats the code when the phone needs to be in DFU mode, right. Into DFU mode with ibrickr.
No error 1 this time, however is just sits there "waiting for iphone".
Also tried home + sleep and so on different ways.
A look into itunes logs reviels that this
"operation 28 progress -1"
is where the iphone is stuck or whatever. This line is repeated forever in the log.
On a working restore this line is only repeated 3-5 times.
ive tried different itunes versions on different computers.
Usb 1.1 and usb2.0 connections
Anyone have any suggestion what to do?
