I am 99.99% sure I received V1.1.2 firmware on my iPhones. I ordered 3 directly from Apple, all of them shipped from China. Looking at my invoice I can see the serial numbers; all of them show Week 43. Looking a T3's photo which has 1.1.2 installed that was a Week 42 one. What do you guys think?

Should I open them or leave them sealed until a confirmed solution is announced?

    Thanks

In the pix for T3's, there is a different box for the new iPhone with firmware 1.1.2. So are you sure that your iPhone boxes look any bigger than the old version boxes?

Wow interesting. Would you think it's unlikely that 1.1.2 would be installed on my iPhones since they were sent out last week, and my last one was sent out two days ago.

The T3 box is only bigger because they received a UK iPhone. (UK uses a 3pin power adaptor that won't fit in the US sized box). I doubt that Apple will change the size of the box for the US iPhones, even for 1.1.2.

Well, now I am feeling a little more confident that the software will infact be 1.1.1 rather than 1.1.2 because not one person on this forum has received a 1.1.2 apart from T3 and Engadget and other large technology sites.

I want other Week 43 users to post here please and say what version came installed.

    Thanks,

    DeanCorp

The UK's box is bigger because of the power adapter, the UK plugs are way bigger than the ones we have state side. The box is not bigger because of the 1.1.2 update.

If 1.1.2, then would it be possible to downgrade to 1.0.2, get to springboard, virginize, reformat to 1.1.1 with 10/10 and then unlock as normal? Is there something I am missing? Seems that firmware and baseband would both be taken care of. I ordered from Apple on Nov 3 and the ship date is Nov 6-8 (they have never taken that ong to ship)...I am sure I will be receiving 1.1.2 (hope not). Any thoughts?

I have a week 44 iPhone coming tomorrow and I doubt it will be 1.1.2 but I will try and update if I remember.

maybe 1.1.2 is just for EU iphone and the us iphone will be remain the same until the next big update. i think itune could tell which is EU one and which is US one just like it can tell which color ur ipod is.
