Is there a location in the iPhone file system where I could upload a web site (using Fugu) and then access it locally using iPhone's Mobile Safari?

I'd like to create a photo album where the photos will not be scaled down, as iTunes does when transfering photos to iPhone.

I've got the site ready, thumbnails and all, and it works beautifully on the Mobile Safari from an internet server. However, since WiFi is not always available and the photos are rather large, it would be great to be able to store the site on the iPhone and access it from there.

Is this possible?

You can always install apache, upload your site and access it at 127.0.0.1

There is a way to store web sites in a bookmark using a data: URL that can store at least 1.2MB, though it may not work well with bookmarks that large.
