possible to extract contact photos from iPhone..?
hi all, i am about to brave virginizing my trusty 8GB 1.02 so i can upgrade it to 1.1.1 finally, and have only one problem w/ wiping my phone... i have photos taken when contacts were created that i really do not want to lose, is there any way to extract them from the phone or no? i poked around w/ cyberduck to see if i could locate them in the filesystem but no joy.
any pointer would be great, thx in advance friends..!

The contacts shuld stay intact after you update nut just in case you have problems like i did and you need to restore you can back upd your contacts file
the contacts are stored in a file called : AddressBook.sqlitedb
you can copy it to your computer using ibrickr or WinSCP
the file is located in this Directory:
var / root / Library / AddressBook /

BTW unde rthat directory should be 2 files AddressBook.sqlitedb this fail contains the contact information with out the pictures.
The other file is: AddressBookImages.sqlitedb.
Sorry for the late response i missread and thought you only wanted to backup your contacts with out your contact images

My contacts sync into Microsoft Outlook (Windows user here) and I can sync them over from there if I need to.
