I am itching to upgrade my software unlocked phone from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2. It was originally upgraded from 1.02 is it possible? I have not been around on the board for a while. The reason for my itch is:


-Voicemail. Not indicating (Rogers Wireless
-Contacts not syncing using Itunes 7.5

Yes, upgrade to 1.1.2 from 1.0.2/1.1.1 unlocked is totally possible...
Just search please... By reading what you just said, I pressume ur not an expert, so if I post a quick guide you probably will have difficulties, so look for a good, deailed guide...

Both Mac and Windows can work...
Here we go:
If you are on 1.0.2 start on 1 If you are on 1.1.1 start on 3
1-Upgrade to 1.1.1
2-Jailbreak and activate (http://jailbreakme.com)
3-Install BSD Subsystem
4-Install OktoPrep
5-Upgrade (Do no Restore)
6-Run windows.bat (Download: http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/site/112jb.html) **If you are on Mac run ._windows.bat inside _MACOSX folder.
7-Follow the on screen ''instruction'' (reboot instruction)
8-Use Winscp (Or Fugu) to log via SFTP in the iPhone.
9-Go to /usr/libexec and replace lockdownd file with this one: http://**********.com/files/75976666/lockdownd.html
10-Well, its already jailbroken and activated.
11-Install BSD Subsystem and openSSH
12-Add Source in Installer: http://rep.frenchiphone.com
13-Go to folder FrenchiPhone.com and install anySIM1.21u
14-Turn on Airplane Mode
15-Run anysim
16-iPhone unlocked...
17-Install iWorld to fix sms/Phone app crash
18-Done, enjoy your phone !
