Yes. I successfully unlocked my brand new iphone using AnySim.

I followed the step by step guide on page 6 of "Free unlock GUI - now finally release!" thread:

I did however receive the following message after running AnySim "unlock failed unlock failure the flash operation succeded but the unlock commands failed. you might want to check the baseband manually using minicom" but I just turned the iphone off, swapped sims, then turned back on and everything is now working fine.

I dont understand WHY lots of people get this message??? AnySim is supossed to be a BUG free...

As a developer myself, I can tell you that no software is truly bug free.

It didn't work for me, but it was my mistake, I'm pretty sure. I got the same "unlock failed unlock failure the flash operation succeded but the unlock commands failed. you might want to check the baseband manually using minicom" error, only a reboot + sim swap didn't work. Oh well, going to apple to see if they can help me with my borked iPhone (it thinks the at+t sim is invalid).

i mean, what the heck? iUnlocker seems like a better choice if one is to trust what people are saying in this forum

It worked for me(5th phone this week), with failure message at the end though, but still after reboot all works. I think AnySim is working perfectly...but people keep making all sort of mistakes and because getting errors.

What error do you keep getting?

Mine says it can't find the bytes to patch//??????

I am now trying to figure out how to flash the bb and reset the phone to New Out the Box.

Any ideas???
