Please!!! HELP STUCKED WITH OPENED IPHONE IN GEOHOT METHOD!
Hi guys,
iīm here in brazil trying to unlock my iphone,
and got stucked in creating new folder in winscp
"create a new folder "etc" in the folder /usr/local/etc"
first: i donīt have a /usr/local folder.
second: i canīt create a folder in any part!
i can copy files, but canīt make folders!
please help!!!
took like 3 hours till this point, my tables is a mess...my iphone full of scratches
and iīm almost desperated.....
please...someone? somebody?

There will be a create new directory button near the bottom of your SCP windows.
Just go into the root of your iphone (keep clicking the up arrow folder icon in your files windows) until you see etc. Then open that and create the etc folder in there.

I have the same problem. Don't know what to do... The Binkit should have enabled deletion of files etc. but it doesn't in my case...

I did everythig twice an finally i could make the dir by puting mkdir bin into usr/bin
I have another problem, I type reboot at putty but nathing happens plz help

thanx cracker, but that not the problem...
i cant find the /usr/local
and even create a folder. access or pemission denied.
please help..

true,
binkit should be copied to usr/bin too?
/bin and /usr/bin? both of them?

Have you installed the BSD Subsystem? The commands worked for me after I did that
