    Unhappy Please help....

    Hello all!

I have an iPhone 8Gb 1.0.2, unlocked with anysim, and iTunes 7.4.1.

I need to restore the phone, and so i click on the restore button with the alt option, to select the 1.0.2 file....

iTunes show me a message "extracting file", and the starts the process of restore...

But the, it gives me a message that a "unknow error ocurred (-1)".....

I already tried restart the computer, but it gives this message every time...

    I REALY need help....

    Thanks!

Ps: I'm running Mac OS 10.4.10, iTunes 7.4.1, iPhone 1.0.2

iTunes do finishes the extraction process... when starts the restore process, is when the error appears...

    The file extensions is .ipsw??

Safari unzip the file, but i zipped again and changed the extension to .ipsw... is this right?

i agree with gibberish, try downloading the file again with firefox or another browser that doesn't unzip automatically and rerun the restore proceess,

    you'll be fine

If ever you are running 1.1.1 try this http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9016
