Default Are photos displayed right for you in landscape mode?

    Hello,

I upgraded some days ago from 1.02 to 1.14 and noticed that some photos aren't displayed in full screen when in landscape mode. They have these black bars on the sides. The weird thing is that not all are displayed like this and that all (the same) photos were displayed correctly when I used 1.02.

I took two screeshots to show you the problem:

Original Size of the picture: 800x600

Original Size of the picture: 512x314

    Have you an idea?

    Thank you!

When thoese bars aren't visible, the pic is just a little bit zoomed in, cutting away a liitle bit on the other two sides. Just try to zoom a little bit in/out!

The iPhone tries to keep the aspect ratio of your picture, so of course it will show those little bars at the sides if the picture is a little less wide than the iPhone, so it can show the entire vertical part

Nope. Complete photo is shown, no difference between Landscape and normal mode.

Could I turn off this feature, to have the same way as I had on 1.02? I hate those bars! I'd prefer by far that little information is cropped/cut out but then the photo appears in full screen.

I just noticed, that even photos taken with the buit-in cam have those bars!

I posted it on the official Apple Forums too, but without any progress, so my question to the techies here:

Does anyone know which files are responsible for the photo management in order to replace them with those of the 1.02 version?

    Please help me!

I have another question about landscape mode and how the picture is displayed. When i take a picture in landscape mode it is later displayed in that mode in the photo app. But if i then turn the phone to landscape to see the picture correct without breaking my neck, the photo is also rotade.

Is there anything i can do to be able to watch the pictures in landscape mode without the picture rotating?
