iphone 1.0.2 activate, unlock instructions

Ok guys, i hope this is big, and i hope someone can confirm this or is a valid method. But I just received my iphone ordered off apple.com to outside the US

and I was really worried i will not be able to downgrade and such....After research, I used different methods for different purposes to make my phone's features work after the downgrade... here is what i did...

1. Used the instructions here to Downgrade my iphone from version 1.1.1 to 1.0.2...Worked successfully, surprisingly with NO errors of what so ever at all during the whole procedure...You will go back to the activation screen after all this...and AppTappInstaller WILL PROBABLY DOWNLOAD the firmware file ONCE more even if you have it already...Just bare with it.

2. Activated my iphone without AT&T without any SIM using this /* remove requested due to copyright */
(go to the point and click activation and click on the CLICK ME file bat)

3. After those two steps, i am probably lucky or miraculously found that my baseband is 03.14.08_G which is the same baseband of the old firmware that many websites claim that it is virtually impossible and extremely dangerous to downgrade, even so, many if not all attempts so far were unsuccessful....anyways.. Go to your iphone settings and into the about feature, and check your MODEM FIRMWARE if you have 03.14.08_G if so, proceed to next step, other wise follow the RISKY steps on http://iphone.unlock.no/#Step2-Bypas...d-youtube-lock and how to downgrade your baseband...

4. I used iBrickr (also located in the completeunlockpack2 to connect to my iphone and install its files as well as AnySIM (it is not difficult, very user friendly)...

5. Followed instructions, was patient, put in my OWN SIM CARD, used AnySIM and my iphone works like a charm. Youtube works fine, wifi, and bluetooth works perfectly, EDGE, GPRS, SMS, Calling, and getting calls all work ...

i think you are going t get flamed without photos & serials,

post the first 4-5 character of your serial/imei and take a screen shot on your phone (using dock etc) showing the same serial and imei (blur out the last few digits)

other wise, good luck proving it, i hope you are right

What are the first 5 digits of your serial number?

Maybe it was 1.0.2 from the begining

Well, i DID check that my iphone is 1.1.1 from the begining, and it was, before i downgraded it...plus i dont think APPLE would ship me one that is much easier to hack ! :p I will post serials and stuff in my next post...
