Phone numers not recognized
I need help here.
In my address book the number is like:
John 51231234, when I want to dial John, I dial 51231234
However, if John calls me, it shows like 5551231234, and it is
not recognized.
I tried modifying the ABPhoneFormats.plist, but it is not
working at all, also, it looks that it is a custom configuration
for México, however, it is not working at all.
Do you now what can I do to fix this?
Also, in the plist, there are some numbers when editing, like:
0 ###
1 ###
2 ###
What is the meaning of that numbers? 0 1 2?
Thanks.

try to put either +(countrycode)phonenumber (eg +324668679) or fullcountrycode and phonenumber (eg 00324668679).
This should work, depending on your provider. No need to change anything in the plist.

ABPhoneFormat.plist is only used to display a number when dialing unfortunately not to set how to match incoming phone number to your address book.
The iphone will not match number other than american numbers properly

There are the same rules, so you could remove item 1 and 2., it will make no difference...
