You technically can attach a PDF to an email and use the iPhone to open up the email and subsequently the PDF.

Well there is a PDFViewer for iPhone inside Installer but it's version 2.0 which crashed when the file you put in is too big, if you look for it @ this http://iphone.natetrue.com then you will c version 3.0 which work for me with files as big as 10mb and some people even claimed that their >300mb file worked well with 3.0
So if you decide to get 3.0 you have to dl it from the link I provide and manually install it thru WinSCP, here is the instruction (credit to loujob from modmyiphone.com):
I've only done it on 1.1.1 Firmware. I downloaded the .tar file. Extracted in its entirety. Went through the build folder. Copied the pdfviewer.app folder to /Applications and changed the permissions Octal code to 0755. ( also set all the files inside prfviewer.app folder octal code to 0755)

I put my pdf files in /var/root/Media/PDF. All with octal codes 0755. IT usually is 0755 when you copy a file, but I transferred a few things that were not. So, I just like to make sure. Restarted the phone. Sometimes you may need to restart it twice. Make sure there are no errors that pop up like disk is full.
Enjoy it though I really am expecting an upgrade since this version still requires manually navigate from page to page

I just updated my PDFViewer from version 2.0 to 3.0 following the helpmeee instructions THANK YOU SO MUCH

I was very mad because version 2.0 ALWAYS crashed and is not useful. Version 3.0 is Stable.

Related question: does anyone know where do Mail and Safari put the temp PDF files that you've received or opened from the web? It would be cool to know where that is because a simple Terminal command would allow you to copy those to PDFViewer's folder and be able to read them offline. They must be in a Cache somewhere, any ideas?

    Lightbulb Books.app

More than just a PDF Viewer I'm after a PDF Reflower for the iPhone screen, so you don't have to scroll up/down. The guy coding Books.app for iPhone was in this path, but he desisted his developing because of Apple's iPhone SDK announcement for feb.

I use some googled software to convert PDF to HTML and open it in my iPhone with books.app. This is what best suits my needs, right now.

    Hope it helps. Cheers
