This is probably slightly off topic but is there a way to diagnose an iphone? Like some software that checks for problems in the system. I would like to know this because I am going to purchase a 1.1.1 and I want to know if something is wrong with it.

I read somewhere that this person had problems with there screen and when they took it to the Apple store they ran a program that confirmed the damage to the screen (apparently water damage).

Is there any released program that lets you do this?

Couple of minutes ago I just bought a *sim-card so if you do release the software unlock, please wait couple of days so I can at least try this card otherwise it will feel like i just threw my money away... thank you for understanding!

ps if the software unlock is released before i receive my card I wont ever bother trying the proxy-card ds

i don't even think it's a program. i'm pretty sure they can just look inside the headphone jack and if it's pink then they know it's gone for a swim. it's kinda like litmus paper. other phones have this as well.
