I have a friend who couldnt wait for their contract to be over with Verizon... now, this friend of mine bought his iphone after i did. i used ipsf and he eventually used AnySim.

now that he finally has an ATT contract, he wants to update to 1.1.1 like myself.

we used OneSim on his phone, and from the looks of it, it worked. the prepaid sim doesnt work any more.

do we have to run the revirginizer or are we set for the update?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

i usually know what to do with this, but im really really not sure about this AnySim (like i said i used ipsf myself as i couldnt wait for the free solution)

OneSIM is not the virginizer. If he unlocked using anySIM v1.0.X then you need to run the virginizer, if you unlocked using anySIM v1.1, you are free to update.

actually the free unlock was available before the ipsf software was released.... Your friend is going to need to virginse his phone before updating to 1.1.1!

well, the Geo-Hot hardware unlock was as far as im aware...

but i got caught up in the whole ipsf Software hype and took the dive. no complaints tho, as i had no trouble updating to 1.1.1 and no extra steps were needed.
