i updated my itunes to 7.4, jailbreaked successfully and activated with iNdependence.. But i did a backup via itunes and my iphone messed up..either that or i used version 1.0.1 firmware to jailbreak instead of 1.0.2
iPhone kept showing boot missing and didn't restart to main menu. Everytime i turned off the iphone it showed up the same screen, never went into restore mode.
Did a force restore and jailbreaked with iNdependence and activated.. this time i jailbreaked with version 1.0.2 and didn't allow backup of any data
Installed Installer App and everything is okay now.
Here is the force restore method:
Turn off iphone, disconnect from computer
place iphone on its dock and disconnect the usb from the computer
hold down the home button
while holding, connect the iphone usb..
itunes should mount the iphone and force restore.
make sure you use iNdependence that is for the new itunes version 7.4
