Default Old Question - How do I determine the Firmware

    Hi

I looked around on the forums but only found old posts relating to the firmware versions.
My first iphone I passed on to my wife and got another one shipped from the US to Australia.
It sits sealed in its box in case no unlock happens real soon. But I need another mobile now so I must know what the firmware is.
I know it is Week 48 and it's got the iTunes icon on the box, my gut tells me and what I've read online it will be 1.1.2 OTB! But I could be wrong?!? am I? should I open it?
If there is a slight chance it might be 1.1.1?

    Thanks

LOL. I would say that Turbosim is the best way to go but it costs a fortune. The reason its best is because it is reprogrammable JUST IN CASE apple attempts to block these types of unlock solutions in the future. I might get a NextSim because it is reasonably cheap and confirmed working on my network (Rogers). good luck.
    Thumbs up if i helped.

I thought of turbo sim... but as you said very expensive.
Well lets see what happens, will keep the community up to date if I stumble upon something.
